Adoption is a legal process that transfers family power from birth parents to a new family. The biological family loses the previous family power over the child, and the legal family acquires it definitively and irreversibly. The civil registration of birth is changed, giving the adoptive parents the paternal and maternal status. The Brazilian Statute of Children and Adolescents authorizes the adoption of any minor, regardless of their condition, with a view to their protection. The first step in carrying out an adoption process is to seek the assistance of a lawyer, as the adoption process is carried out through a process in a legal instance. We assist in the gathering of the documents necessary for the qualifying process of adoption; we operate in a judicial custody process, in processes of destitution of family power in order to enable the rupture of the biological bond and the construction of a new emotional bond and in the adoption process.
