In the paternity action, the child whose paternity is recognized will be entitled to pension, as well as, to be the heir of the identified parent. It is also possible to request the alteration of the civil registry (birth certificate), so that the name of the biological parent appears. The recognized child becomes an heir and dependent, thus having the right to share assets, social security benefits and others.
