The pension food refers to the value set by the judge seeking financial assistance for minor children or mutual assistance between spouses. It must meet the criteria of possibility, necessity and proportionality, that is, the possibility of who will pay and the need of who will receive them are observed, ensuring that the determined amount is sufficient to guarantee the dignity of the fed, without, however, allowing the its enrichment without cause. This pension is not an amount intended solely for food, covering the beneficiary’s housing, leisure, transportation, education and health needs.
